Our company was setup over 30 years ago when noise control was in its infancy and when noise at work regulations were a thing of the future. Over the years we have developed our ideas, products and skills to meet today’s demanding market.
When the company was first started the emphasis on quieting diesel generators, since then the market has developed into every area of modern life. One of our biggest markets has become air-conditioning as this has become essential in modern architecture.

Our acoustic enclosures are designed to reduce the noise generated by generators, air conditioning units and heat pumps. These enclosures work by absorbing and trapping the sound waves produced by the unit and preventing them from escaping into the environment. Our enclosures are sound-absorbing and help to deaden the sound waves. They are also designed with ventilation to ensure that the generator does not overheat, while still maintaining a quiet environment. With the advent of modern air-conditioning equipment more architects are specifying this as the primary source of both cooling and heating. This can mean small single or multiple condenser units enclosed for domestic use or multiple large VRV type units for commercial buildings.
Whether the condensers are of large or small capacity they will generally be subject to planning conditions. These conditions will usually be arrived at after an environmental noise survey has been carried out to assess the background levels of the surrounding environment over the time periods when the machines will operate. The noise reduction that is required of the enclosure will generally be determined by the results of the noise impact report generated from the survey.

When designing the enclosures for condenser units we take great care in preventing re-circulation by physically segregating the inlet cooling air from the outlet. We treat the aerodynamic design of air conditioning equipment enclosures with paramount importance due to the generally poor pressure performance of the inbuilt fan units.
